El Sr. Guillermo Koy (miembro corresponsal de la institución geológica), envía nota al Sr. Presidente de la República, Ing. José Serrato solicitando, se realicen las gestiones pertinentes ante el Cónsul de Francia en Teherán a fin de legalizar los pasaportes de los Sres. Paul Serebriakov y Víctor Butorov. En dicha nota, se informa que el Dr. Serebriakov es director de una expedición en Asia, y el mismo, manifiesta interés en trasladarse a sudamérica y establecer un observatorio en la ciudad de Montevideo.
